5-hour Gallery Exhibition featured paintings from three summer community Live Arts Events in Logan Square. The Space was a donated empty storefront converted into a gallery for the Milwaukee Avenue Arts Festival at 2725 N Milwaukee.

Logan Square Past and Present Exhibition featured both Contemporary Art and Historic Photographs. The Space was a donated empty storefront converted into a gallery for the Milwaukee Avenue Arts Festival at 2881 N Milwaukee.

The Live Art Masterpiece Battle invited artists to compete to capture the spirit of the festival with a first prize of $500

 

Art For Kids Stage organized by VOTC, ALSO and ASM held Children's Activities the entire weekend of the festival.

 

 

The Chicago ARTillery Stage at the Know Art Collective Gallery hosted a variety of bands, DJs and performances. The Space was a donated empty storefront converted into a gallery and indoor stage for the Milwaukee Avenue Arts Festival at 2764 N Milwaukee.

The Trolleyat the festival transported festival visitors to venues along the entire stretch of Milwaukee Avenue from California to Ridgeway.

 

The Women/Mujeres Exhibition. The Space was a donated empty storefront converted into a gallery and indoor stage for the Milwaukee Avenue Arts Festival at 2727 N Milwaukee.

Indoor Art Market featured a diverse and high quality spectrum of unique handmade crafts and fine art for sale. The Space was a donated empty storefront converted into a gallery for the Milwaukee Avenue Arts Festival at 2643 N Milwaukee.

 

The Logan Connections: Discovering the Artists of Logan Square and Vicinity Exhibition held at the Voice of the City Studio highlighted features artists associated by residence, workplace, or spirit to Logan Square.

The Whistler Stage hosted 3 days of music focused on local and Logan Square Bands

The No Borders No Walls Exhibition. The Space was a donated empty storefront converted into a gallery and indoor stage for the Milwaukee Avenue Arts Festival at 2725 N Milwaukee.

Know Art Collective Gallery featured both Know art Collective and Chicago ARTillery members

Blue Ribbon Glee Club was part of the Spirit of the Square, an event featuring church music and choirs at the Norwegian Lutheran Church

The Crown Tap Stage featured a variety of Music throughout the festival

Local businesses participated by hosting music and art at their establishments and on the sidewalks on Milwaukee Avenue during the festival.

Logan Connections: Discovering the Artists of Logan Square and Vicinity Exhibition

The Chicago ARTillery Window Display. Collectively painted canvases we hung in the the donated empty storefront space at 2314 N Milwaukee Avenue

The Black Market Exhibition at Cole's Bar featured Chicago-area artists reflecting on hidden lives, stories, and thoughts about sex, immigration, addiction, and politics. Works were both traditional and non-traditional

Local Artist Lynn Basa and friends painted a mural along the route of the festival

Peter Lemke's Collection of Milwaukee Avenue Street Art Exhibition provoked much discussion. The exhibition featured work from Milwaukee Avenue made and installed by local artists/

Artists painting for the Live Art Masterpiece Battle. Artists were asked to make art around the Logan Square Monument and finish their paintings in 5-hours.
